Computer Lab Lesson: Information Report on Endangered Animals



Instructions

  • Log on to www.linoit.com
  • Group leader create group canvas
  • Invite group members and teacher (chua_wan_jun@moe.edu.sg)
  •  Each member are to use a different colour post-it 
  • Pearl - Yellow, Diamond - Blue, Gold - Pink)
  • Each group is to copy down the canvas link on the instruction paper
  • Group leader copies the link on a piece of paper with the names of each group member
  • Group leader hands the paper to the teacher
  • Conduct research on google
  •  Copy down the information gathered
  • Post information on linoit.com
  • Complete information report

Giant Panda


1)      Pearl (Yellow post-it) - General description of the giant panda
·         Physical description (How big? Weigh how much?)
·         Diet (What do they eat? How much do they eat?)
·         Habitat (Where do they live?)
·         Animal behaviour (eg. Likes to live in herds? Likes to live alone?)




2)      Diamond (Blue post-it) - Reasons behind their endangerment
·         Why is the giant panda endangered?
·         The number of giant pandas left. (In captivity or/and in the wild)



 3)      Gold (Pink post-it) - Conservation efforts done by people
·         What have people done to try to stop the giant panda from going extinct?
